Toyota RAV4 EV Owners Manual | Quick Reference Guide

Toyota introduced its electric-powered SUV in the Electric vehicle in Los Angeles, USA. The car named the RAV4 EV is a motion by a battery that takes six hours for charging to full with a maximum mileage of 160.93-kilometers.

Previously Toyota, which was popular with the Prius hybrid vehicles, once launched similar cars in 1997-2003, but at the time the market was not ready with battery-based cars. The latest electric SUV could speed with a maximum speed of 160 km per hour and appreciated $49,800.

The heart of Toyota RAV4 EV is an electric drive system made by Tesla Motors. Batteries that can store almost 42kWh electric energy can take this car for a distance of 190km. This capability goes far beyond other electric cars unless the Tesla Model S is much more expensive.

In the RAV4 EV ride model It can run from 0 – 60mph in about 7 seconds and keep going up to a top speed of 160 km/h. The electric motor can create a torque of up to 278 lb-ft and 154 hp. While on the ‘ Normal ‘ driving model is smaller 218 lb-ft. The ‘ Sport ‘ control Mode is used when overtaking other cars on the toll road, while ‘ Normal ‘ is more widely used for the everyday ride.

This Model is only marketed in California alone. Akio Toyoda CEO Toyota and Elon Musk CEO Tesla announced the collaboration of both companies in California in May 2010. Since Toyota will be serious in the hydrogen car market, there is currently no plan to prepare the successor for the RAV4 EV.
